LENGUA GLACIAR (GLACIER TONGUE)

Geneva, 2011

With paper paste and plaster I model a shape that resembles a tongue. In the drying process it causes general cracking. With tempera and ink I give it an aged patina. In a simple cardboard box and a cotton bed inside it, where the piece will rest. It is a reminiscence of a museum object when things were done in a simpler, more naive way. I also reminds me of the children’s “handiwork”, done with their skills and imagination.
