“An exhibition route by the artist Ángel through five locations in Madrid”
With the aim of showing society all its internal dynamics that he himself transforms into art, the man from Madrid opens an original exhibition – the first of its kind to be held in Madrid – that will tour five studied locations in the city where he will expose some of the most significant pieces from three stages of its production (London, Geneva and Madrid).
“Common Places” could be visited from October 16 to November 22 on a route with connected points but in no specific order. The aim is to show the viewer how the most everyday corners can inspire art and how the environment is a part of that beauty that can be found in the most unexpected places.
Three of the locations correspond to the Room Mate hotel group –Room Mate Óscar, Alicia and Laura-, and will be accompanied by the Dinh Van jewelry store and the I´m Pretty women’s social club. All have been chosen with special criteria, for their exclusivity, their originality as a space and their adaptation to the works presented by Ángel. The artist himself has made a selection for each point of the route, adapted to the atmosphere of each one of them.
Room Mate Oscar (Plaza Pedro Zerolo, 12)
Dinh van (José Ortega y Gasset, 11)
I’m Pretty & I know it (Jorge Juan, 20)
Room Mate Alicia (Prado, 2)
Room Mate Laura (Travesía de Trujillos, 3)
